Connect Airport Express to Runeaudio stream

So I see tons of literature on using RPi and Runeaudio to function as an Airport Express base station.

But, my question is, is it possible to send audio from a RPi with Runeaudio to an Airport Express base station, while also sending audio to a USB DAC?

Back when I was on iTunes I enjoyed multi room play using an Airport Express (or two) with my laptop. I still have a couple Airport units and now that I use Rune for all my listening, I'm wondering if can get the multi room play going again with the hardware I have.

Me too, I have an Airport Express that I would like to use as a "client" for my RuneAudio Raspberry Pi + DAC+.
