[SOLVED] music partition on SD card

Hi,

is it possible to create a separate partition on the SD card to store music files. Then mounting the partition and adding it to the database.
I would like to use a 16GB card.

Also, sharing this volume via samba would be great to add/delete music via network.

Yes. And you can maybe add this functionality to the doc. Also the ability to use pls files to play web radio is a nice feature/workaround that could be noted somewhere.

I definetly have to find the time to update the doc... in the meanwhile, could you please describe here the steps you followed to achieve the desired result? It would be helpful for other users with the same needs.

Hello,

Just a comment about files playback from SD vs. USB:
When the same file (e.g. 16/44.1) is played back from the SD card is reported as 16/44 while the same file being played back from a USB flash is reported as 32/44!
Is there any bits addition or difference in the playback procedure depending on storage??

Hello Andrea,

Yes, this is the info displayed in playback main section of the RuneUI.
The file it was played back was an AIFF ripped from CD.
I have already uploaded debug info to:
performance-t113.html
