3 Issues from Initial start up. Help need please

Hello,
3 issues i have with my Raspberry Pi / PiFi Digi + are as follows:

1 - My PiFi Digi + card is not giving any audio Output ( I've been told it needs to be turned on - so to speak )

2 - For some reason Runeaudio isn't saving my login details on my Edimax EW-7711UAn wireless USB Adaptor. ( It see's the home network but wont save the wireless password

3 - My Raspberry Pi Isn't recognising my powered HDD ( the unit is powered by a seperate powered USB hub )

Any suggestions would be appreciated as i really want this project to work

Issue No1 - is all sorted out ( that was an easy fix )

Issue No2 - with the Wireless USB - It's found, recognized and saved the password but when i disconnect the network cable so it runs by WLAN it wont communicate. ( it gives me an IP address of the wireless connection in runeaudio but when i do a scan of IP connections on my network that particular one doesn't show up )

Issue No3 - My WD 1tB Element HDD ( powered ) isn't recognized it's NTFS format while a smaller 8gB USB Stick which had some mp3's which i manage to play no worries is FAT32 format.

The powered USB hub has an output of 4 amps @ 5 Volts

Any other simple fixes i can do ?
