404 Not found

Postby SilverBlade » 17 May 2015, 02:52

Just today, I got a '404 Not found' page when trying to access RuneAudio, and it just started happening.

RuneAudio has been working fine for about 3 weeks. Now it's not.

I've also re-flashed my SD card like 4 times, and it still occurs.

Hi SilverBlade,

did you try an other browser, or clear the browser cache?

Do you access it with "runeaudio.local" or directly with IP address? Runeaudio.local never worked for me so I'm using IP address to access it directly: first I log in to my router to see the IP address of Raspberry Pi and then I enter this IP address in browser. IP address mostly stays the same after rebooting but sometimes it changes so try to log in to your router and see if Rasperry Pi is there (it will be shown as RuneAudio) and which is his IP address.

I'm using windows and no I don't have installed Avahi nor Bonjour so that's probably the reason it doesn't work. But IP address works normally.

I got it working again.

All it needed was a router reboot...oddly.

It's doing it AGAIN.

Working fine yesterday, but now it's not. I didn't even touch the Pi in any way.

runeaudio.local and the direct IP address are both giving me "Webpage not available" or "404 not found."

It also takes many attempts at restoring the Rune Audio image onto the Pi, AND it takes many Raspberry Pi reboots to get more lights on other than 'Power'.

FINALLY working again.

I figured it was the power supply or a corrupt SD card.

So I switched the power supply, got a new SD card, got a new surge protector, changed the location of my Raspberry Pi to a different plug and it's been working for a couple of days now.

The Raspberry Pi was giving me a sour taste in my mouth..no pun intended (ha). Now it seems to be working.
