Access USB from MAC Share

Hello I have a USB attached to Raspberry Pi and I control Rune through my MAC... I see my Rune Device on my shared column and when I log in to it as a guest I can see the USB be Drive but I cant open it... is there a way to access it so I can drag and drop file into the USB connected to my Raspberry Pi from my MAC? I cant seem to figure out the username or password tried Root, Rune.

Are you able to log in at all, from a terminal, console, using a keyboard and HDMI monitor/TV, or anything like that? Btw, I think "root" and "rune" are lower case.

I usually log in from a terminal window on another Linux PC, but I also think that the USB drive may be read-only by default, so I doubt you can just drag and drop files to it without changing the permissions. (I know I can't drag and drop with default permissions set.)

Where do you find access to change permission... It would be great to just drag music to a hard drive connected to the raspberry pi
