Add music to a mounted usb stick via windows

Like it says, from File Explorer I should be able to type in the ip address of the stick and copy music to it, I just can't figure the exact path though!

The IP address of my Pi is 192.168.1.8 and according to Rune this is the usb path ( I think) USB/sda1-usb-SanDisk_Cruzer_B
but when I preface the USB with the ip address I just get a failure message from Rune.

Any suggestions?

Hi janui could you please do me a walkthrough from logging into Rune Audio via ssh?

I've tried all sorts of things but can't get it to work, not much of a Linux man to be honest.

@ Frank - thanks I can see how it would be useful to copy files for Rune across but nowhere could I see the usb stick attached to the Pi.

@ janui - I have turned Dev on via the UI, I have run the code systemctl enable smbd
systemctl start smbd
but to no avail, I still cannot access the usb stick.

Any ideas?

Hi Lol999,

your music library can be found at /mnt/MPD/.

- all NAS devices are in /mnt/MPD/NAS and
- all USB devices are mounted to /mnt/MPD/USB/.
