Advanced Search and rating in MPD

I am currently using my own MPD set-up but will probably move to Rune as I like the look of it

One of the things I really would like to do is rate individual tracks and then be search by those ratings.

e.g. Play all track with 3 or more stars OR no stars. In a random order (not as a playlist?)

+1 would love this, use it a lot. Also to be able to adjust rating on frontpage/playback page.

+1 for that - so i can switch from MusicBee to my new headless player.
By adding this feature it would be nice to read out the id3 ratings and by chaning write the id3 track back.

I'm not so bothered by rating music (I use MediaMonkey for that), but I would like to be able to filter by rating. For example, I tend to play all songs on shuffle, but I'd like to be able to create a playlist including only songs rated only above 2 stars. FIltering in general, in fact.
