Due to the different record levels of my music collection, some form of automatic level control is a must. Is this in the pipeline?

Hello blewgenes, you can find ReplayGain volume normalization option under MENU > MPD > Volume normalization.
Can you test it and tell us how it works? I never use that option in my setup.
