Any way to sort songs in que?

I noticed that the songs are sorted by album name, read from tags. Is there a way to sort them by artist name instead?

I keep my files named like this:
Andrea Bocelli - Sogno - 1999 - 06 - Cantico.flac
Chris Isaak - San Francisco Days - 1993 - 08 - Move Along.flac

but the files end up like:
Chris Isaak - San Francisco Days - 1993 - 08 - Move Along.flac
Andrea Bocelli - Sogno - 1999 - 06 - Cantico.flac

I was a bit unclear, I am adding a whole folder that contains a mix of many artists and songs.When there are some hundred songs it takes a long time to drag and move the songs in order. Is there any way to have sorting done in the rune client or modifying mpd?
