Audio Output DAC not selected by default

Hi

My PI is connected by USB to my oppo DAC. I noticed that sometimes after a reboot or shutdown and switch on the audio output settings doesn't take my oppo dac in the list, even when I saved the parameters. It take instead PI output.

In the same time, even if my DAC is not selected, music is still playing corrctly through the DAC.

I don't know why the DAC is not selected by default anymore. I have to select it again each time I reconnect to Rune.

Hi Mat,

please take a look at the debug output (MENU->Debug).
I think your DAC is recognized very lately on the startup process so Rune is already up and running.

Is There something specific to search in debug ?

Does it mean that the dac should be on before launching rune audio ?
