average bitrate display

hi,

this relatively old post concerns (apart from the data format question) also the issue of the bitrate displayed on the playback screen. has the idea presented there (show average bitrate) been abandoned or hasn't it yet been implemented?

the values i am observing for my FLAC files range from 0 kbps to >1000 kbps. therefore, it seems that the bitrate at the beginning of the file is still used. is that correct?

no need to apologize, frank! i know from my own experience that "soon" can be very "elastic". after all, the time is relative.

anyway, thanks for the quick feedback - good to know that the issue hasn't been forgotten. even with this small "schönheitsfehler", runeaudio is a terrific piece of code!

Good news: the problem has already been addressed in the new version The UI will show the average bitrate and not the instant one.
