[Solved] Can't get it working - Kuman SC07C HIFI DiGi+

Postby Luke » 11 Nov 2016, 15:10

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Kuman SC07C HIFI DiGi+ DAC for an old Pi B+ which I've had collecting dust for some time. I attached the DAC, installed runeaudio, and simply cannot find the DAC in the 'i2s kernel modules' drop-down menu under settings. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

Luke, I don't have this DAC but I it and it says it is a wolfson DAC. Did you try using the wolfson kernel?

I read the comments in the link above and someone posted to use the HiFi Berry DIGI drivers. Did you try that?

You will need to ssh to the device and edit the config file. there are many threads on this.

Hi Luke,

the most relevant question is:
What Pi do you have RP1, 2 or 3?

I2S options are only available in config.txt when using RP2/3.

Hi Gents

Sorry for getting back to you this late. I got it working - I'm stupid.

Highly appreciate you responses. Will mark it as solved, of course.
