Can't get Wifi interface working

Postby kolia » 23 Feb 2017, 23:25

Hello,
I've got an RPi 3 with the latest distribution Linux version 4.9.11-1-ARCH (builduser@leming) (gcc version 6.3.1 20170109 (GCC) ) #1 SMP Mon Feb 20 21:09:30 MST 2017 in order to get Hifiberry Dac+ Pro recognized. So far so good.
I'm trying to set up the Wifi now. There is a compability issue with this module as described here:
In order to test wifi I removed the board. I was able to set up the Wifi interface, it is connected with an IP address delivered by DHCP. However I cannot ping it (I can ping the wired Ethernet interface). So how could I get this working?
Then I would need to set a speficic channel (1, 6, 11 and 14 are forbidden with Dac+ Pro). How to set a specific channel (I have no problem to SSH to the RPi)
Thank you

Edit: I just had the idea to unplug the wired ETH cable, I can ping the WLAN now. Pretty strange though. That leaves the second question: how to set a specific channel. Thank you
