Postby jonas18z » 01 Jan 2015, 16:51

I connected a USB-stick and removed it but can't unmount it. How do I remove it?

well I've never had trouble unmounting via the command line so you could try that...

umount /dev/sda1

Sorry I have the same issue but i read this topic and kinda get stuck ate the end..

redis-cli hdel usbmounts "/dev/sda1" -> returns 1

rm -r /mnt/MPD/USB/sda1-usb....your-folder-name -> what folder name, it's about a drive /stick, not a folder.. sorry but i don't get it.
i ssh-ed into the rpi, so am at root@runeaudio.. maybe that is wrong as i only have these folders/files returned when i list the root.

airplay
dev-netsurf
shairport.php

kind regards

I had the same issue on runeaudio 0.4 (build: beta-20141216) and solved as following.

First of all Samba Share needs to be enabled (not sure but I think this is the default).

Browse via File Manager to Network/runeaudio/music_store/USB (or as shown on Nautilus under Ubuntu 16.04: smb://runeaudio.local/music_store/USB)

There I found several folders of USB mounts I removed long time ago. Just delete the folders and the dead links are gone for good.
