Cannot See/Play Music

Postby foxint » 09 Jul 2016, 09:30

Hi Guys.
Thanks for you help in the past.. I have search and re-read and still confused.

I have 2 issues.

1. The music does not play. I did finally get the flac files to display on the rune.

2. I cannot see any flac files in my windows explorer. I want to copy some new files on, but the directory is empty??
MusicStore(192.168.1.123 (RuneAudioPlayer)
Local Storage
NAS
USB/Media/.undevil-mount-point ......whatever this means
Webradio

At the moment it is thinking.....are there any updates - if so how do I get them? I have also lost the BBC I have in my Queue

Any suggestions.... I wil reboot again and again....

The BBC came back....but now the music in the Queue has disappeared....I put one track in the queue and double clicked..it jumpes to the top of the queue and plays the radio???

I have added some tracks to the queue. I click on the track and it more to some random track and will not play. The only things that play are the 2 radio stations BBC and CDNX2

Strange...

I ahve rebuild the MPD Libary and all my music has disapeared.???? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Hi Guys....

Now all my music has dissappeared on the USB SSD???

I am doing this:
Browse Your Library
USB Storage (1)
....blank screen???

I go to local sources and the NAS has got a red X and the USB Mount has: tick /dev/sd1 USB/Media (size 233GB. 68% in use

I have unmounted and mounted....rebuilt the library...

I also trying and look at the SSD via Windows Explorer....RuneAudio/MusicStore/USB/Media/.udevil-mount-point.....that is all NO music

I try and copy music to this location and it say there is not enough space.

Something has gone dramatically wrong....???? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Sorry Guys....but this programme is far to hard for a boy from the bush. Can anyone lend a hand??? :( :( :( :(

Hi Guys

I plugged in the SSD into the PC and used Disk Managment....says it has 157GB free....so not sure what is happening.

I copied some new music to the disc. Not the most conventient method of adding new music. I shared this dirve...

Then pluged it into the PI3.

Yippie....Music....

But ... When I look at the Properties of the HDD it says it's capascity is 1.84GB and there is 48.8MB free....it is a 250GB SSD....so Rune is doing strange things??

Sorry for all my mess....I love the idea of this stuff....but I wish it were more Plug and Play....

Any suggestions.....

Hi Frank

Thank you again. But I really did not understand any of the post.

I put in (as per the post): "http://192.168.1.123/runeaudio/music_store/NAS" - through Chrome - the result was "Software failure".

Then I treid it in Windows Explorer: as above - result was Firefox opened and another "Software failure".

It is very confusing. I thought using Windows Explorer, it would be just like any other HDD on the network. But not so.

Is there a solution???

My other question is why can I not copy music files from my PC to the Pi HDD. This would suggest that there is no space (as it says) but this is clearly wrong.

The only way I have been able to copy/change/modify files on the PI is to physically take it off and plug it into the PC. Then plug is back...This totally wipes my Queue and means I have to load it again... Not very user friendly. It also sometimes changes the name..

All very confusing.
