cant find /root/.xinitrc

Very new to RuneAudio
I have a newly installed RuneAudio on a Pi3. Placed the SD card into my windows pc. Opened the SD card to view the files from the Rune install. I have looked everywhere and cannot locate .xinitrc to enable the mouse cursor. The only txt files I can see are cmdline.txt and config.txt. All the other files are dats img and elf. Hope I am giving you guys a decent visual...


I have booted into Rune only once to check out the interface. Double clicked a file from the attached USB device (WMA Audio file)

Thanks for the reply! Loaded up winscp and easily logged in. My next question, I'm in the root directory and I see the root folder, but there is nothing inside the folder. Its just empty.

Hi copel84,

all files in /home/root are hidden by default (all files start with a dot like .xinitrc).
WinSCP has an option to show hidden files.

in /root/.xinitrc change "-use_cursor no" to "-use_cursor yes"

Edited .xinitrc after clicking the option to make WinSCP show hidden files.
