Connecting spinner forever

Postby robertdh » 08 Nov 2014, 11:39

Hi everyone,
I installed runeaudio and it works great!
The only thing is that sometimes the "connecting" spinner doesn't go away.
I can still connect from my computers Firefox but the ipad keeps showing the spinner.
Anyone having the same problem?

Regards,
Robert

Hi robertdh,
welcome to the forum. There is a about the 0.3-beta testing and issues, that's the right place to ask for help about the latest version, report bugs and follow the development updates (we already committed a couple of fixes that could solve your problem, have you tried them?).
We are already working to quickly fix the most annoying issues emerged from that thread.

Hi acx,
Sorry for posting in the wrong place.
I was only able to fing 1 fix (the update through UI one) but that didn't help, even after a power cycle.
Strange thing is that firefox and blachberry have no problem, but ipad and ipod do.
Maybe i'm using the wrong search arguments but that was the only fix i could find....

If it works with Firefox but not on Safari, I suspect a client-side issue.
Could you check if you have any Javascript errors in the console of your browser (Safari I suppose)?

Ok, I checked and my version is 5.1 I tried with another iphone which has version 8.0 and it works fine. So I think the 5.1 browser is bit too old. Could it be something websocket related?

I'm having the exact same issue - blocking the 'Loader Element' in adblock removes the issue and everything works as normal

Strange one

Seems to work after I delete <DIV> "loader" with Firefox 33.1. Altho it pops up every time I do something, but I can always just delete it again. Does not show any information about song being played nor anything in the queue, but the songs are still playing.
