Creative XFi USB Works (but...)

The Creative X-Fi USB Model SB1090 works fine (tested with Raspberry Pi model B and powered USB hub.)

Is there any chance that RuneAudio could support the harware volume control on it? (tested both as software and hardware mode volume control, to no avail).

Hi Pondidum, if an interface offers hardware mixer control and does not require custom drivers to work under Linux, then it should work out of the box. Please type alsamixer in command line and look if volume control is available there, that's the hardware mixer.

The only item listed in there is the Power LED.
