Dual network adapters support+"turn off" question

Postby washburn_it » 13 Oct 2015, 12:21

Hi,

I'm working around a Car Media Center equipped with a 7 inch touchscreen LCD.
I'm going to use 2 Raspberries, one for RuneAudio+HiFiBerry DAC+ and one with Raspbian for the "RuneUI".
Raspberries will be connected to each other through a network crosscable.
As a "plus", I would like to connect also an USB WiFi dongle that will be used to connect to my smartphone (configured as WiFi router) to be able to listen to web radios.
So, does RuneAudio support 2 network adapters?
I tried but I had some troubles with both adapters active concurrently.

The second question is: is it possible to turn off the RuneAudio Raspberry by sending a command through the network (not from the RuneUI)?
What I would like to do is to command the "power off" by pushing a button on the "Raspbian Raspberry", so with a single button I would like to turn off both Raspberries.
Thank you, regards.
