Hi guys,
I just wanted to confirm to everyone that this touch screen is working almost plug-and-play with runeaudio:
https://www.amazon.de/Eleduino-Raspberr ... B01GE2RV7W
Due to the higher resolution and almost same lcd size everything is a little smaller than on original raspberry touch screen.
But it's touch is very precise so it is perfect for me.
So I could have larger covers in future or use the space for other UI modifications.
The colors are also perfect, not like on my pictures ...
I also tested the official raspberry touch, but I experienced problems switching with the three categories in bottom.
Also that the volume setting wheel was reacting very slowly and setting volume even if i was not touching anymore.
On the Elduino both was gone and I am still wondering why i did'not have to install any touch driver
As my Runeproject is proceeding I started with Pi 1 and now I am on Pi 3B and still not finished ...
Test Configuration
- Pi 3B
- Eleduino Touch
- RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB.img
Installation:
Edit config.txt and add e.g. after (#config_hdmi_boost=4):
----
hdmi_group=2
hmdi_mode=1
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60
---
Just be careful that you comment this out by putting a # in front:
---
#hdmi_drive=2
---
Otherwise you will have a purple vertical bar of 2-3 pixels on the left side.
Found this out by trial and error ...
Same here I guess: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=282146
In my case I also put a left overscan of 4 pixel because on the left there was some glue between touch and lcd
Don't set too much, because it will relativly strech the touch on 4/1024 percentage ...
---
overscan_left 4
---
Another general tip ... When you have a rainbow square on the screen ... that is because Raspberry has too less operating voltage.
Check your power suply and cabels that they are "big enough". Display leeches 800 mA.
Good luck guys!
