ES9023 I2s dacs

Hello everybody, I am new to the forum. I'm starting to test this software. Like the polished UI and its responsiveness. It seems quickest than in Volumio

I have ordered one board from

I wonder whether this dac is supported and if the rest of es9023 boards (ie. Audiophonics I2s) are supported as well.

you are lucky because we ordered a couple of ES9023 I2S DAC some days ago to give them a try So yes, we'll add them as supported in the future.

I'm using es9023 based Sellarz DAC from ebay with external 49.1520 mhz clock. This combination works flawlessly with hifiberry i2s driver. Even 24/192 works without any distortion.

I had some problems with Volumio with this setup when playing high resolution files but Runeaudio works well. I have to say that I'm really impressed by the sound quality!

Im using an ES9023 based dacberry3+ on a Pi B+ and it works using the hifiberry setting, just no volume control.
