Fast forward and rewind

Postby Acme » 24 Aug 2017, 18:18

Is it normal for fast forward and rewind functions to be unavailable?

Hum, I am going to ask the question in a diffrent way, do someone knows, if there is a plan to add, in a future version, the possibility to do a pause while in playback and then do a rewind. It is something that I do often when listening to classical music to replay a subtil passage (with foobar and foobarCon pro, but I prefer the hardware convenience of runeAudio).

You can move the circle on the elapsed time forwards and backwards to find the part of the music you want.

I have already tried this approach, but in my environment it does not work. Do you have an explanation?

By the way, my audio files are on my MyBookLive hard drive which is connected to my router using an Ethernet cable.

Hi Acme,

what Version is installed?

Please try different file formats like MP3, WAV, FLAC .....
We had some trouble some time ago with WAV files on the Pi2/3 and Odroid builds, see .

The version installed on my device is the most recent one.

The " pacman -Sy libsndfile " fix the problem.

Thank you very much for your help.
