I’m trying to set up my RuneAudio system and I can’t see the Pi on my network. When I boot I get the flashing red and green lights. After booting (~ 20 seconds) the red light stays on and approximately every 4 seconds the green light flashes twice while the red light briefly flashes off. This 4 second flashing interval will now continue indefinitely. (I know this is a lot of detail, but I hope this lighting pattern might mean something to someone.)
I suspect the Pi is not booting, but it could possibly be that the Ethernet port is not working. However, I know the Ethernet line works because I plugged my laptop into it and that works fine. Is there supposed to be a light on the Ethernet plug? If there is, no light is on.
I have tried reformatting my SD Card and reloading the image using the USB Image Tool software and also removing my sound card and booting without, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have a suggestion of what I should try next?
