Generic I2s output from Raspberry 2 B?

Hi everyone, has this solution been resolved? I'm about to try removing the usb reciever from my very good dac and feed the I2S straight into the dac.

Keen to try but I'd like to know someone has had success with this method. Pi 2.

Hi Dave,

If your dac is usb connection, I am quite curious why you skip the USB? For the I2S connection, it plays very well on Pi 2 connecting to I2S dac board as I tried successfully.
