I was just backing this interesting project on Kickstarter.
The Box might be hackable, which would make it a very nice platform for Rune Audio. What do you think?

Hi sushi3003, thank you for the tip. Interesting device, although it seems not built for high quality audio reproduction (no USB ports to connect an external hi-fi DAC, no info about the integrated DAC, only a jack analog output). The only hardware spec available seems the Qualcomm Atheros AR9341, so at the time I can't tell if a porting could be possible.

You are right, no digital out possible. However, many people (including me) still have nice Hi-Q analogue AMPs from the 80s.
My hope is that the analogue out will be good quality, since the device is intended for similar use but not as cool as rune audio
