HELP CONNECTION

Hello
Can anyone tell me why i cannot connect to the raspberry and RuneAudio from my MAC by using only the wifi?? it works only if the computer is connected to the network with the cable...!!! How can i say... if i use http://runeaudio.local doesn't works without the Cable plugged to the router ..

i forgot to say that the wifi dongle works well... i settled all parameters of my network ( network name and pw ) Both connections , cable and wifi are well..

Hi lifegoeson,

first it would be good to know which Pi (model) you own.

Please try to use the ip address instead of http://runeaudio.local.
If both interfaces are active avahi (the Apple Zeroconf service) may not work correct.

I own the P2 model B
You are suggest me to chose between cable or wifi for the connection ?
And if i set up the wi fi parameters ( under network menu ) do the raspberry keeps them after shout down and reboot? I would like to control the system by using my Imac lat top via wi fi ..basically this is the main issue
