Help with script at the boot of runeaudio

Postby amadeus74 » 08 Nov 2014, 01:12

Hi to all.

I have one Raspberry Pi connected via HDMI to my TV. With two SD card, I run Openelc for the film / video and Runeaudio for the music.
I utilize two SD card because at the moment the dual boot with Berryboot don't work.
I have created a very little script that powerdown the HDMI output of the PI, and I want this script to bo executed before the login screen of Runeaudio, but have not been able to make it work: the script is loaded and appear on the list of command during the system startup, but the screen don't power off.
If I run the script manually via ssh after the system is ready, before to login, the HDMI switch off.

Any help for this request?

Thanks for any suggestion.

Hi,

i remeber doing something similar for another SD of mine. For that i edited /etc/rc.local and add my command just before "exit 0" line
You could try this!

Hope it helps

Runeaudio is based on archLinux which uses systemd, so I am not sure that rc.local will work for you.

Hi,

- does your script start with #!/bin/sh
- are your file permissions right?
