How to get the necessary packages to build a kernel module?

Hi all,
I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but I've read some partial answers but I'm still note sure how to dot that correctly.
I want to build a kernel module for the terratec 6 fire dmx usb sound card. I then need the kernel headers (at least, maybe other things are missing in rune?). But where can I get packages with the correct version?
