Hello,
I've been playing around with Volumio 1.5x for the past month or so and got fed up with instability and configuration issues, but most importantly, the insanely long boot times.
In all respects, I've been amazed with RuneAudio 0.3-alpha thus far. It boots lightning fast and everything works out of the box.
I do have one small issue though. I'm using a cheapo Wifi dongle (mt7601). It works perfectly once you compile the driver, depmod and insmod it. But I need the kernel headers to achieve that.
I'm very familiar with Ubuntu and Debian, but not so much with ArchLinux. I've learnt a bit and found that I can install the dkms-mt7601 to automatically compile the driver. Great! Except that pacman only allows me to install kernel headers for the latest kernel (3.18.x) - I tried updating the whole system to this new kernel, but ended with issues here and there (including instability and crashes).
So, how can I install the kernel headers for 3.12.26-1? I've searched for close to a week and I just can't find how.
Please help!
