https acccess to Rune

Postby rasti » 28 May 2015, 18:41

Hello,

is it possible to access Rune Audio UI not by http only but also by https as an option ?

I am asking because I would like to include the Rune UI as an iframe in my home automation server.
And, in an iframe http and https should not be mixed
=> http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/ifra ... -and-https
Since my home automation system is accessible from the outside internet, I must use https

Thanks

Ralf

Hi Ralf,

yes it is possible, but it requires a lot of configuration work on .
You also have to provide the necessary keys.

Thanks !

I googled a bit and found a step by step instruction, but for ubuntu not arch !

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... untu-12-10

I am already stuck at step 1. (get a tool, here apache2-utils, to produce the encrypted passwd.
pacman -Syu apache2-utils => results in "target not found"

Step 2 is less or more clear

Step 3 is unclear. I thought that the file to be edited is /etc/nginx/nginx.conf
but I cannot find the following lines at all:
listen portnumber;
server_name ip_address;

Step 4: is less or more clear

Can you help ?

Regards
Ralf
