I2S DAC

Hi Peter, you should be able to use short cables to connect the Pi and Pi-DAC. For Pi-DAC we use the v3.3, v5, GND, i2s and i2c pins.

I'll update the user documentation with more information.

Hi all...
I have rPi conected with DSP (Najda from diyaudio.com) via I2S.

I have try volumio but have stereo sound while playing mp3 and wav but mono with flac.

Now I came accros Runeaudio, so I nead to know, does rune suport I2S ?
so that I could give it a try

Just to report that I have manage to play flac files via volumio...
had to set resampling inside player to 32bit (44.1khz) and now have stereo with flac files...

will keep my eye on rune 0.3

Not really, the DACs can have different addresses on the bus so the driver will have to set the correct bus address and there maybe other stuff that the drivers sets as well

I have tested both IQAudio Pi DAC and Wolfson Audio Card with RPi. Both work well and sound good.

When you have software ready for i2s I can help to test and send you my comments.
