Hello Sorry to bother you again...
The i2s connection between my DAC SABRE and the Pi finally works if i uncomment HIFIBERRYDAC on the terminal...boot/config.txt , but it works only if i select a WEB RADIO !!!!!! Nothing from the HDD - usb !!!
I use two HDD 3T in raid 1 configuration and FLAC files... I browse well the content of the hard drive but if i play a file the result is a kind of white noise mixed with music , only from right channel . The left one has no sound at all...!!!!
The HDD's are formatted in FAT system..just to let you know. What's happens in there???
In the meanwhile i tried to install VOLUMIO , just for try.... same results . The DAC i2s input works only with web radio sound flows.... at this point i don't know what to do

Are you talkin about the 5V linked between the Pi pin, and the DAC pin, on PCB's??

Hello everybody
I'v tried to play files WAV 24bit. 44.1 khz ... it's works fantastic.... this is the only way to listen to files with mi dac. Flac 16bit are not supported and i can't understandthe reason why.... The DAC should accepts 24 and 16 BIT as well...
What could i do to solve the issue ??? i'm not about to rip from the beginning 350 classic CD in wav 24 bit , and if my infos are correct, there is not a ripper ( MAc users) ables to convert CD in FLAC 24bit-..... Isn't it??? Also wav does'n accepts metafile ... right or wrong ?

Hi I am experiencing the same problem with audiophonics es9018mk2DAC and pi3 via i2s
I can only get 44.1khz web radio out of it ....the rest flac from USB when I try to play I get
white noise on the right channel
has anyone fixed this issue

I had the same issue last 3 weeks. Then I used C2 instead that it played perfectly.
