I really appreciate Rern's efforts and I like to test his new achievements.
On his latest build he also upgrade the kernel to the latest version.
This cause a malfunction to my IR remote control – as described here :

Looking for workarounds I am thinking the possibility to downgrade the kernel.
If I do so, am I gone to “miss” something ?
How important is an – up to date kernel – in Runeaudio ?
(apart the support of newer hardware)
Maybe I have the opportunity to try also a Real Time kernel.
Does make sense such a kernel to a heedless Pi 2 with Runeaudio ?
Please any thoughts are welcome.
