Hello there,
first of all, i like this project a lot, it actually made me get out my pi from its dusty corner because now it fulfills a NEED that i have!
I also quickly realized i want better sound, and that a DAC is in needed. Which is why i ordered the IQaudiO DAC+.
Apparently i misread the matching pi versions though, because the DAC does not simply fit on top of my pi - i have the RPI1 Model B Rev 2, and the P1 has a different pin count and also the obstructing video out jack.
Now, i am a total hardware hacking noob... so my questions are:
- Is it at all possible to attach the dac to my pi?
- If so, can someone give me pointers how to find out about the information on the required pin assignment?
