[SOLVED] iqaudio dac+ crashing runeaudio

Postby matt » 08 Dec 2014, 03:16

I have recently put an iqaudio dac+ into the mix.
Everything works ok until I try playing 24/192 files. I get about a second of music then a second of silence then another second of music followed by another second of silence and on and on. If I press stop the music stops and the rune ui becomes totally unresponsive and requires rebooting. I have increased the buffers but it doesnt make any difference.
I was using a hifiberry dac+ prior to this with zero issues.
Any ideas?

Hi

Using runeaudio + Iqaudio with 24 / 192 with no issues ...

My suggestion :

Power suply : 2A, i notice some problems with power with 1A or less
File may have issues, with qobuz I tests différents king of files ( linux, Windows ....). Strange but with Windows files runeaudio may not work .... I never try to understand why.
Have a look to modules ?

quick and dirty : start from a new system .....0.3 Beta

regards

@matt: that is not supposed to happen... please check if IQaudIO is the only enabled output with the mpc outputs command.
