Just to say thanks!

I thought I'd post a quick thank you to everyone involved with this project :) - after struggling to get a very similar project to connect to my NAS I found RuneAudio - I downloaded and installed it on my Raspberry and it just worked! I set up a connection to my OpenMediaVault NAS and there was my library of Flac music waiting to play.

For info I'm using a Beresford Caiman DAC, connected to the Raspberry via USB - and playing through a Rega Mira amplifier and B&W 601 speakers the sound is great. Now I've learned how to do bit-perfect rips (via EAC) the sound is comparable to my Rega Planet CD player!

Thanks again!

Hi fjk2009,
thank you for your appreciation :) We are proud to hear that a Rpi with RuneAudio could compete head to head with expensive hi-fi equipment, this is the kind of feedback that we love to see!

I echo that. I discovered Rune Audio a few days ago when I was trying to make Ubuntu Mate drive my HRT Music Streamer II on my Raspberry PI 2. Rune Audio does exactly what I need and it is dead easy to configure. I no longer need my CD player. I am now going to move my amp next to the speakers and get some short speaker cables. Nice work guys!

Hello,
I have also tried raspbian, volumio and rune audio. I just want to say that it is the best solution for me.
With my raspberry 2 and an audiophonics DAC, I have a low cost solution for listening music with high level of quality.
The solution is connected ot audiolab amp with focal loudspeakers.

Thanks for your job, and I wait for the official version 1.0
