Low Volume with RuneAudio driving Pi and Digiamp+

Ive bought an IQAudio digiamp+ to be driven by the RuneAudio using software volume control.

After starting up the music, I was disappointed with the amp as it had to be run at full volume to a moderate level of volume out of the speakers. However, when switching the pi software to OpenElec, the volume is twice as loud. Puzzeled as to how this can be. Has anyone else come across this as I would really like to drive the Pi with RuneAudio

Guys, thank you very much. Thought I had wasted cash on the Digiamp but its now putting out decent volume, relieved.

Can now start loading the music up!
