Mount USB drive connect to the Pi on the network?

Postby SilverBlade » 13 Jul 2016, 03:00

I have a Raspberry Pi 2B, and I have 2 USB flash drives attached to it for music.

Is there a way to make these drives appear on the network, so I can copy files over to the USB drives?

Hi,

with latest image this should be default.

On my Windows7 PC i can access the music store directly.
The folder "/mnt/MPD/" is shared via samba as "music_store".

Not the Pi 2B, I have the Raspberry Pi B (not the 2 Pi B)

Still possible? or no?

Hi,

you can try to enable developer mode on the settings page.

If it does not work you can try to modify the samba configuration.
