Is there any way I can connect the Seagate portable 2.5" USB 3.0 hard disk directly to USB port of Pi B+ without using a powered USB hub? Is there any way to increase the current of USB bus by tweaking the software?
Hard drive is spinning up but it keeps on stopping and starting. Just cannot mount it. I'm using the Samsung Note 3 charger. Its output is 5.3v/2A.
