It went through multiple lines and tasks but towards the end failed with a error message.
But my exFat formatted USB drive is now recognised and I'm listening to music from it now!
One reason I'm doing this is because streaming off my NAS has pauses from half a second mostly to sometimes up to 4 and even 8 seconds! Tried changing the buffer size (now 4096) and cache (now 30%) settings but it didn't help. Almost like a WiFi broadcast storm, but it doesn't happen if I'm streaming same with my smartphone over WiFi - so it's odd.
The NAS is wired, I have a USB WiFi adapter on my Pi 2.
Anyway now I should be able to use my 80GB spare SSD drive (with USB adapter) with exFAT, I'll raise my NAS problem as an issue to resolve another time.
