NAS drive won't mount

Postby ianhaynes » 23 Mar 2015, 19:15

I had my RP2 / IQAudio Dac+ system working beautifully until I tried to alter something in the config file using Visual Studio which doesn't by default use Linux line endings. Not initially realising what had happened I re-created the SD card but now can't see the NAS drive no matter what I try.

The settings, ip address, remote directory etc are all the same (and I confirmed these settings work in a build of Volumino I retained).

Have tried every other combination I can without sucess.

I do get an error message:

mount error(22): Invalid argument Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

Looking on-line for this I can see a numnber of references but nothing that helps.

PS: Using the 20150304 build

Adding to the above, I can navigate to the NAS drive in a browser: eg:

//NAS-9A-94-43/media/Music/

I've discovered that the previous build (which I may have been working with) does mount the NAS drive. So:

RuneAudio_rpi2_0.3-beta_20150221 does see the NAS drive

RuneAudio_rpi2_0.3-beta_20150304 does not see the NAS drive
