Native DSD

Is there an easy way to tell if DSD is being sent to a DAC as 'Native DSD' or using 'DoP'?

Technically, from a sound perspective, I guess it shouldn't make a difference but as I have just bought a new DAC (iFi iDAC2) that supports Native DSD I am curious!

I have DSD enabled and can playback DSD.

I was just curious as to the method of sending the DSD data to my DAC. Is it using DoP or sending native DSD data to the DAC as my iFi iDAC2 supports both.
