Network Mounts greyed out in Library tab

Postby mcattell » 31 May 2015, 14:39

Hello, I'm a newbie so I hope I haven't missed an answer elsewhere. I've tried several audio server solutions for my raspberry-pi/wolfson audio combo and so far, this is the winner on sound quality and ease of configuration. The Spotify support works seamlessly as does the wolfson driver support so well done for integrating this.

One thing I haven't been able to get working is the local content. I've mounted my cifs share which contains all my ripped CDs and it shows as mounted. It has created the directory under /mnt/MPD/NAS/Compact Discs and all the content is readable from the command line. Unfortunately, the network share, despite showing as "Network Mounts(1)" on the button, doesn't do anything when I click it and the button is greyed out/darkened. I did click the "Rebuild MPD Library" but this didn't make any difference, even after waiting some time.

I checked to see if mpd was running any processes in the background but cannot see any mpd processes apart from these:

mpd 332 0.0 0.3 3112 1504 ? Ss 03:40 0:00 /bin/bash /usr/bin/devmon
mpd 427 0.0 0.2 3952 1452 ? S 03:40 0:00 /usr/sbin/udevil --monitor
root 949 0.0 0.1 2336 652 pts/0 S+ 15:37 0:00 grep mpd

Am I missing something? I've checked the log files for the UI and there doesn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary in those.

Any ideas?
