This afternoon I gave up trying to get Volumio to speak to my NAS and installed Rune on Raspberry Pi.
It works. Wow...it really works.
I've been using itunes for years. Recently with Pure Music and more recently still with Audivana. It's been ok but never brilliant. I've never really enjoyed listening to my stereo
What I've been listening to this evening through Rune has blown me away. For the first time in 6 years I'm happy to have spent what I did on my system. It sounds incredible: musical, alive.
