Newbie in sound system - Building his own

Postby karibu » 07 Jul 2016, 15:31

Hi there,

I've decided to start investing a bit and build some touchscreen systems for my music.

I'm currently using Kodi, on a Nuc, connected to 2 "amplified speaker" as they called. (Microlab Solo8C)
And I'd like to be able to control my music remotely with a dedicated touchscreen. (I arrive home and I touch few buttons, to get my sweet music,....)

I've purchased a RPI3 and a touchscreen to do it.

I like the RuneAudio interface but the audio connection from the RPI might not be that good and I only have 1 set of speakers,
I can put some music on and I might want to stop it to watch a movie for example.

Any idea which type of configuration I should do in this case?

Thank you
karibu

You are investing in really a nice sound system. Hope you get a proper configuration for your music system that you are going to set up.
