No booting after changing to static LAN-IP-Address

Hello guys,

Thanks for your great piece of work!
Unfortunately I have a problem that comes up only when I change LAN-IP to static.
This is a little bit annoying, because all networkshares, streamurls, MPD settings and so on are lost each time I tried ...

Setup
- Raspberry Pi B+
- RaspiPlay4
- Freshly copied "RuneAudio_rpi_0.3-beta_20141029_2GB.img" on several SDs tested
- no other hardware connected (only amplifier to DAC)

Problem
After initial boot (or any other) and changing LAN-IP-Address from DHCP to static it will work everything properly over the new IP until I do a menue reboot or "hard reboot". Then there is no sign of the Pi in the network anymore (and it is not resetting to DHCP, I checked this im my router). However, the green Pi-LED and RJ45-LED are still blinking some time.

Any clues? oO
I am thankful for every suggestion or tip.

just found a way of recovering your image (by accident) so you can recover settings and mounted shares, webradios...

Same happened to me twice and I just put one of my SD cards with the unresponsive runeaudio image in the card reader on my laptop (to start again) and windows came up with the Scan and recover storage medium dialog. After scan end recover you can put SD back in PI and it boots fine...
