Overclocking

Postby ptiboubou » 25 Mar 2015, 08:05

Hi,

I am trying to overclock my pi. I can connect to it via SSH.
sudo raspi-config is not working.
sudo command return an error message: sudo command not found

any ideas?
Thanks

Perhaps - as root user you do not need sudo (you already have elevated privileges)?

...also, if we are talking about "old" RPi 1, overclock to 900-1000 MHz makes possible loseless 24/96 playback from ethernet connected NAS to USB connected DAC... CPU hovers around 80%, but no clicks, pops, stuters... (CuBOXi sounds better, but RPi 1 is quite OK)

In fact I am listening to music using NAS+RPi+HifiberryDigi+DAC and it works very well up to 96khz .
I own a iDSD nano dac and want to play DSD files via USB.
Files up to 96khz play well by using NAS+Rpi+USB iDSD DAC. When playing 192khz and DSD files with this config I get digital noise.
This why I want to try overclocking to see if it helps...

What command do I need to use instead of sudo raspi-config ?
