Pi 2 and Hifiberry

Postby fortheshire » 01 May 2016, 21:24

Hello,

I need some help setting up my Pi 2 to work with HiFiBerry and RuneAudio.

I have RuneAudio currently working with no issues, however I bought a Hifiberry and after installation I am just getting the Multicolored splash screen.

I have edited the config.txt as I saw in other posts to no avail.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply! I used a Mac to set it up. If I unplug the hifiberry from the board, everything works fine again. I have the DAC + RCA and I uncommented the corresponding line in the setup file.

Hi fortheshire,

this is strange and shouldn't happen.

If i remember right we had this once and it was a defective hardware or a .
I would try the to be shure the hardware works.

It also would be helpfull to know the version (RuneAudio) you are working on?

I have tried the test image and it worked correctly.

I have re-imaged the card with RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB and changed the setup.txt again and still received the color splash screen.

Hi fortheshire,

the image works definitively with the Hifiberry DAC.

Please post your config.txt (if possible uploading as zip file).
