Pi Internal Soundcard background noise

Hello everyone, first of all i would like to thank for this great project
At the moment i don´t have dac yet so i´m running on the internal pi sound card.. the sound is ok in terms of sound stage
but i hear a lot of background hiss/noise when playing music (i hear more on the slow music with the low volume passages or when a turn the volume down). Is it possible to get the sound without noise??? because the sound is ok...but i can stand is the noise.
i tried connect to different amplifiers and different power supplies, even a battery one.
my pi is the b+

Hi pistollero,
I also experienced the same kind of issues in the past when testing the analog output, and in my experience the hiss/noise was always because a noisy switching PSU or bad USB cables. It's surprising that you notice that even with a battery input... Anyway it's an electical background hiss, and it should not be related in any way with the software.

Btw, I love Portugal I spent probably the best year of my life in Coimbra...

A 2A PSU is the minimum requirement to avoid possible power related issues, so that one is recommendable, at least on paper. But I can't tell you if it will solve the hiss problem...

Oh I also spent a week in Lagos and I loved it And I was at the TMN festival in Zambujeira do Mar in 2006... the Daft Punk concert was one of the most impressive events I've ever attended!
