Hi Frank

- Wifi profile set through the UI
- static IP
- yes and no :) - LAN cable connected to a switch behind the router - wifi connected to AP behind router/ also tried other connection to SSID on router

I agree that it's not a general issue.
It's an issue after I activate the DAC+ Pro board in the config file.

OK, back after some testing.

In short words. The Dac+ Pro works great on the PI3.
I'm playing flac very stable over my wifi connection at the moment.
Reboots are super fast.
Damn this little thing sounds nice!

So this was a result of a test with a Raspbian installation and Sox player.
Flac's made available on a mounted cifs share.
Sound is great, no hickups at all!

There seems to be nothing wrong with the hardware or the wifi reception.

Now... if only RuneAudio would.... :)

Let me know if I can help you in any way to solve this.

... thanks Frank!

Thought I give it another try.
Boot up the PI... and now the both interfaces are pinging!

Seems like a reboot isn't enough to disable the hifiberry?!

This needs more testing...

Ok did some more testing...

A) the wifi works fine when dacplus in /boot/config.txt disabled
B) to disable the dacplus (after I changed the config.txt) I need to issue a Turn Off -> Power Off, followed by disconnecting and reconnecting the PSU of the PI. After a cold boot, the wifi is back and the dac is disabled fully (LED on top is no more lit)

Hey,

Same here. I have the issue with hifiberry dac+ pro and wifi.
If dac+ is turned off the wifi works nicely, and fails to establish a connection if dac is on.

Hi all,

sorry as i do not own a DAC + pro i'm unable to test this.

I think it is a kernel and / or driver issue, so we have to ask the HifiBerry and ArchLinux guys for help.
